This selection collection is Social Studies based and has an emphasis on the Texas Flag. The purpose of Selection Collections is to expose students to a variety of genres. Included in the Selection Collection, you will find a nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and drama passage. You will also find text connection questions for text to self, text to text, and text to the world. Each Selection Collection also contains a word bank of academic vocabulary. Students will also have the opportunity to respond to short constructed responses via correspondence.
