Learning phonics in a systemic way is perhaps the biggest contributor to strong readers and confident learners. Whether it is due to prior instruction practices or the pandemic, many students are lacking key reading skills and strategies.
In our systemic Teach BIG phonics approach which we call Sights and Sounds, students and teachers learn the ins and outs of the English language in an engaging and fun way. If the student is a new reader, a struggling reader, or a second language reader, the Teach BIG phonics approach will help close the gaps that are necessary for strong reading and later comprehension.
With a strong understanding that the English language is only made up of 44 sounds, and that there are only 75 ways in which to create those sounds, phonics becomes attainable when kinesthetic approaches are utilized.
Let Teach BIG take you on a Sights and Sounds journey for a systematic approach to teaching phonics!
