The alphabet and phoneme booklets serve many Science & Reading phonics purposes. These can be used by a whole group, small group, in stations, individually, or for at–home purposes. 

Each book contains either a consonant or a vowel sound. Consonants are in blue. Vowels are in pink. Short vowel sounds and long vowel sounds are addressed in this comprehensive set. 

Each booklet also contains a list of words containing that sound, a drawn picture to represent that sound, and a photograph to represent that sound. The mouth shape picture required to create that particular letter sound is also included in each booklet. In addition to all of the above, each booklet also includes every variation of the sound represented in that booklet. For example, the letter /m/ can be written in all of the following ways: m, mm, mb, mn, and lm. Examples of every spelling (grapheme) is included for each sound (phoneme). 

One of the most beneficial pieces of this item is the kinesthetic aspect of a picture depicting how to act out that sound. When students connect their entire body, learning is more efficient. This series of booklets does a stellar job at bringing in all three learning styles: auditory, visual, and kinesthetic.
