The Letter Sound Tiles provide an auditory, visual, and kinesthetic approach to learning and utilizing letter sounds in order to create words. After assembling the tactile tiles (instructions are within the downloaded document), you will have every tile needed to create all 44 phonemes (sounds) of the English language AND every one of the 77 combinations of graphemes (physical letters and their combinations) which create the phonemes.

Physically pushing the letters together creates a sound and a visual to show students how to make words. The tiles also provide a tangible way to build word families. Digraphs, diphthongs, silent e, and r-controlled sounds are included as well.
